The Government, through Palacio de la Moncloa, has announced that starting at 13:00 hours it will make publicly available the recently declassified documents related to the attempted coup d'état of February 23, 1981.
The dissemination will take place once the administrative procedures are completed and after its official publication, allowing researchers, media, and citizens to consult the content of the archives.
This measure is part of the transparency and democratic memory policy promoted by the Executive, which seeks to facilitate access to relevant historical information and contribute to a greater understanding of one of the most significant episodes in Spain's recent history.
