The controversy erupted following the release of “Little Rose”, the new track by Rauw AlejandroJhayco and producer Tainy, which includes a line that says: “I give in and marry you Christian Nodal style”. That phrase was interpreted by many as a direct reference to the breakup between Cazzu and Christian Nodal and the latter's quick marriage to Ángela Aguilar, which ignited social media and divided opinions among urban genre followers.

Cazzu's reaction was not limited to social media: days later she published an extensive message in which she criticized not only that line, but what she considers a pattern of “masculine narratives” that downplay the pain of women after a breakup, and launched a deeper critique of the functioning of the urban genre and its hidden codes. In her text, she spoke of a “split screen” between intimacy and media exposure and accused her colleagues of silent complicity regarding these issues

Christian Nodal also reacted on social media, calling the controversy a “big drama” and defending that the reference in the song was not a personal attack, but a common reggaeton resource that uses proper names in an exaggerated way. He also asked that his daughter not be involved in the dispute, stressing that motherhood “should not be used as a shield”

The publication had the support of Lali Espósito, who shared the link on X accompanied by a white heart. Additionally, on social media, reactions occurred: Nicki Nicole and Bizarrap unfollowed Rauw Alejandro on Instagram, according to screenshots shared by several users.

The dispute has become more than a simple allusion in a lyric: it has opened a debate about the way urban music treats media personal relationships, the public exposure of breakups and how the reactions of artists are perceived when they react to apparently banal comments within the genre.
