The judge investigating the case for the railway accident in Adamuz has required Adif to refrain from carrying out any intervention in the affected section without express judicial authorization. The decision comes after the controversy generated by previous actions in the area and in a context of special sensitivity regarding the preservation of elements that could be decisive for clarifying the facts.
In her resolution, the magistrate insists on the need to preserve the state of the tracks and all components related to the accident while the proceedings continue. The order establishes that any technical work, whether for repair, material removal or infrastructure review, must previously have the approval of the court, in order to avoid possible alteration of evidence.
The measure entails a tightening of judicial control over the accident scene and seeks to shield the chain of custody, an issue that has acquired special relevance in recent days.
