The forensic report reveals gunshots, a cranial trauma and wounds after death, while the defense of one of the investigated maintains that there were more involved.

A few months ago we saw how silence took over Plasencia de Jalón, in Zaragoza. Today, that silence is broken by the pages of an autopsy that chills the blood. Francisco Hernández Rodríguez, “Beny”, was pursued, murdered and subsequently they tried to eliminate any trace of the crime.

This outlet has exclusively accessed part of the judicial proceedings and the autopsy report of this brutal murder, which continues to reveal shocking details.

The victim's body was found on December 2, 2025, in the vicinity of the Navarros 1 photovoltaic plant, in the municipal district of Plasencia de Jalón. According to judicial documentation, the corpse appeared “partially burned”, barefoot and with a strap tied to one of the ankles. In the parts of the body not affected by fire, forensic experts detected multiple injuries.

The autopsy is conclusive. The forensic doctors determined that the death was violent, with a “lesion of vital centers” caused by an “open cranioencephalic trauma,” in addition to a “gunshot wound (shotgun) to the chest and arm.”

The pursuit captured by thermal cameras

The judicial proceedings also reconstruct the minutes prior to the crime. The thermal cameras located in the area captured the movements of those involved during the early morning of that fateful December 2.

In one of the key frames, dated at 03:15:42, one of the suspects is observed getting out of a Ford vehicle while wielding a long gun. According to judicial documentation, the individual appears with what seems to be a shotgun whose barrel would still be hot. The image, captured by thermal vision, shows how the suspect heads towards the area where the victim was located, thus reinforcing the hypothesis of the pursuit prior to the crime.

The subsequent images, taken at 05:40 in the morning, show three people next to a Jeep. Investigators at that moment identify the occupants of the vehicle, who would have participated in a coordinated manner in the events. In the frames, it can be seen how the three men remain next to the cars in an isolated area, which, according to investigators, would correspond to moments after the attack.

One of the most relevant frames appears later. At 06:35:16, the cameras capture a Grand Cherokee vehicle driving along a road while dragging what investigators identify as what could be a human body. Behind it, a Ford Mondeo follows the same route. This sequence, included in the judicial proceedings, reinforces the hypothesis that those involved moved the body after the murder.

Wounds after death

One of the most shocking aspects of the case is what happened after the death. According to the judicial order, the alleged perpetrators made “numerous post-mortem wounds” on the body “with the purpose of preventing the identification of the corpse”.

Subsequently, Beny was moved to a secluded place, where he was partially burned. Fire was also set to the vehicle he usually drove, in an attempt to eliminate evidence.

Criminal group and key evidence

The investigation considers that the three detainees acted in a coordinated manner. In fact, the investigators maintain that those involved acted "constituted as a criminal group," with prior preparatory acts and subsequent maneuvers aimed at hiding evidence and hindering the investigation.

Additionally, the Civil Guard found relevant biological evidence. According to judicial documentation, the "genetic profile" of one of the investigated individuals was found at the crime scene, a key element in the investigation.

Searches and arrests

Following these indications, the court authorized entries and searches in several homes linked to those investigated. The operation was carried out at dawn, simultaneously, with specialized units of the Civil Guard, who proceeded to the arrest of the suspects.

The three detainees are currently in provisional prison while the investigation continues.

The defense denies participation

We have been able to speak with the defense of one of those under investigation. Marina Ons, lawyer for José Gabarré, one of the three detainees, assures ‘El Constitucional’ that her client did not participate in the crime.

“Of the three detainees who are in provisional prison, my client states that he had no participation and the police investigations are still open for the identification of three other males who participated in the events,” points out the lawyer.

The case remains open and new arrests are not ruled out. The investigation continues under partial secrecy while investigators try to completely reconstruct what happened that night.

The crime of Plasencia de Jalón, far from closing, continues adding questions. According to the documentation to which this medium has accessed, there are still details to clarify.

There are answers that take time to arrive. We still don't know everything.
