La Moncloa denies a hoax published in Libertad Digital this Monday, about the health of the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez. The news explained that the president had been treated for months at the Ramón y Cajal hospital due to a cardiovascular ailment. According to that version, the alleged medical follow-up would include controls on the state of his coronary arteries through diagnostic imaging tests, such as computed tomography scans, and reviews by cardiology specialists.
Libertad Digital adds that this supposed medical follow-up would include specific controls of their coronary arteries through imaging techniques and reviews by specialists in cardiology. The Hospital Ramón y Cajal has maintained for years an agreement with different State institutions to provide healthcare to high-ranking officials, among them the President of the Government, the presidents of the Congress and the Senate and other institutional officials.
