The Secretary of Organization of the PSOE, Rebeca Torró, has defended the Government's management this Saturday and has harshly criticized the Popular Party. According to what she stated, the socialists "have not stopped improving people's lives," while the PP, "given the good data from the Spanish economy," opts for "playing bad politics." "We are not going to allow them to win with dirty play what they cannot win with arguments," she warned.
Torró made these statements during the inauguration of the Federal Committee of the Socialist Youth of Spain (JSE), at an event in which the Secretary of Equality, Pilar Bernabé, and the Secretary General of Socialist Youth, Víctor Camino, also participated.
The Popular Party does not play fair. If they can't move the goalposts, they don't even dare to come out on the field.

In her speech, the socialist leader accused the PP of "not playing fair" and used a football simile to describe their attitude: "If they can't move the goalposts, they don't even dare to come out onto the field." In her opinion, the Popular Party lacks its own political project and bases its strategy on "the politics of destruction," in addition to competing to "be the most extreme in the neighborhood."
Torró has also criticized the acting president of the Junta de Extremadura, María Guardiola, for stating that she shares the same feminism as Vox. “There is no feminism in Vox,” she stressed, flatly rejecting that statement. In this regard, she has denounced that each agreement between the PP and Vox represents, in her opinion, a setback for women's rights. “With every pact with the far-right, the Popular Party abandons women,” she concluded.
