The People's Parliamentary Group (PP) has published a message on the social network X demanding the urgent appearance of the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, and seven ministers in the Congress of Deputies to explain different aspects of their management. The Popular Party has used this social network to publicly pressure and give visibility to their request.
But this initiative is not new, as it joins the one from January 8th, in which the **PP emphasizes that Sánchez must appear** to give explanations about his **foreign policy regarding Venezuela**, including the Government's position on democratic restoration and the freedom of political prisoners in that country, as well as on what they describe as **"systemic corruption"** that, according to the party, surrounds the Executive, the PSOE, and its closest circle🚨 We demand the urgent appearance of Sánchez and seven of his ministers to explain the corruption and scandals plaguing the Government. pic.twitter.com/VgSumy5OGLAlongside Sánchez, the Popular Party also wants the ministers of **Finance**, **Housing**, **Health**, **Interior**, **Transport**, **Equality**, and **Science** to appear, so they can detail their actions on issues that, according to the PP, "concern Spaniards." Among the topics they cite are the housing crisis, regional financing, the "chaos" in rail services, cases of sexual harassment known in institutional settings, and problems in the management of professional exams such as the MIR.
The PP wants both Pedro Sánchez and the seven ministers to appear as soon as possible. With this message on X, the PP aims to give greater visibility to its demand and reinforce its criticism of Pedro Sánchez's government, which it accuses of not providing explanations and of mismanaging key issues such as housing, transport, or healthcare.
