Shakira has made history by bringing together nearly two million people on Copacabana beach, in Rio de Janeiro, in a free mega-concert that has become the most massive of her entire career.
The show, lasting more than two hours, transformed the iconic Brazilian beach into a massive stage in front of the Copacabana Palace, where the singer reviewed three decades of career with some of her greatest hits. After more than an hour of delay, Shakira appeared on stage amidst a drone show that drew her wolf figure in the sky and a monumental stage of more than 1,300 square meters.

Dressed in a shiny suit in the colors of Brazil, the artist opened the concert with La fuerte and continued with a succession of global anthems such as Hips don’t lie, Waka Waka, La tortura, Inevitable y La bicicleta, in addition to songs from her latest album Las mujeres ya no lloran.
During the performance, Shakira reinforced her bond with Brazil, a country where she has performed since 1996, and dedicated part of the show to women, highlighting their “strength” and “resilience” before the crowd. The concert featured collaborations with artists such as Anitta, with whom she performed Choka choka, in addition to Caetano Veloso, Maria Bethânia and Ivete Sangalo, who joined in different moments of the show.
According to the city hall of Rio de Janeiro, attendance exceeded two million people, above recent records of concerts such as those of Madonna in 2024 or Lady Gaga in 2025, as part of a series of free events promoted by the city to boost international tourism. The City Council estimates an economic impact exceeding 800 million reais (about 136 million euros), in an event that also featured an extensive security deployment made up of thousands of agents and aerial surveillance technology.
