The phenomenon of "La Casita" at Bad Bunny's concerts has generated an intense debate in Spain, becoming one of the most commented elements of his tour, even above the musical show itself.
During a conversation on Hoy por Hoy, Àngels Barceló introduced the topic by highlighting its enormous media impact: "Bad Bunny's little house... what happens in the little house has become more viral than the concert itself."
Journalist Martín Bianchi was more critical of the phenomenon, stating that he doesn't like the format and directly pointing to its internal dynamics: "I don't like this little house thing." He also added that "not only celebrities go, there are recruiters who choose pretty girls."
Bianchi also explained that the debate is no longer focused solely on the music, but on who accesses these VIP spaces, how attendees are selected, and what image they project within the concert itself.
The program also opened up a reflection on the lack of diversity, with criticisms of the homogeneity of bodies, ages, sexualities, and profiles present in these spaces, advocating for greater inclusion of both men and women.
Barceló closed the idea by precisely demanding that openness: "I do claim that people who do not have a normative body or a normative age can be there, whether they are men or women." "Always in favor of diversity," Bianchi pointed out in that context.
The result is a phenomenon that has transcended music and has become a social debate about exclusivity, virality, and representation within one of the most media-hyped shows of the moment, and which opens up a reflection on how far the social-philosophical debate is taking the idea and mechanics of this space within the concert.
🛖 'La Casita' ya es más viral que los conciertos de Bad Bunny en sí.
