Antena 3 strengthens its leadership in May and chains 22 months as the most watched channel

Atresmedia's network once again leads the television ranking in May with a new boost in audience and dominance in the main time slots

May's audiences confirm the stability of Antena 3's leadership, which remains the most-watched television channel in the country for the 22nd consecutive month, thus consolidating a historic streak in free-to-air television consumption.

The main channel of Atresmedia recorded a 12.9% audience share, with a slight growth compared to the previous month, although below the record for the same period last year. In any case, it clearly dominated most programming slots again, with particular strength in the afternoon and prime time.

Antena 3 also led on all days of the week and stood out among key audiences such as women, the 25 to 44 age target, and over 65s. At a territorial level, it particularly excelled in communities such as Andalusia and Madrid, where it registered some of its best data of the month.

In terms of content, the channel once again relied on its major programming pillars. Its news programs maintained high audience loyalty, while its main entertainment formats continued to be among the most-watched in the television landscape. In fact, several of its most emblematic shows occupied prominent positions within the monthly ranking of broadcasts.

Overall, Antena 3 not only reaffirms its leadership but also maintains a sustained hegemony over time that allows it to continue setting the pace of television consumption in Spain.
