Antena 3 has started the recordings of Noche en familia, the Spanish adaptation of the successful British format Parents’ Evening, in a new bet by Atresmedia for the great international entertainment contests.
The program will be presented by Bertín Osborne and his daughter Eugenia Osborne, who debut together at the helm of this game show in which celebrities from different fields compete as a team with their parents or children. The mechanics revolve around a key element: family intuition more than pure knowledge. In the contest, parents must bet how many answers they believe their children will get right before they face the challenges. From there, a game of crossed predictions unfolds in which each correct answer depends as much on knowledge as on the perception each family has of the other.
The format, produced by Atresmedia in collaboration with ITV Studios Iberia, arrives endorsed by the success of its inspiration in Reino Unido, where the format has been renewed for a third season and has received international awards as best studio competition format.
With six rounds of competition and a final prize destined for charitable causes, Noche en familia seeks to combine humor, emotion, and generational coexistence, showing the closest side of celebrities while they compete in a family environment.
