The political scientist Antón Losada starred yesterday in one of the most commented moments in Malas Lenguas, the program of Jesús Cintora on La 1, by launching an ironic warning about the Madrid president Isabel Díaz Ayuso and her partner.
As soon as he began his speech, Losada surprised by stating that he prefers not to address that topic: “Talking about Ayuso and her boyfriend is a high-risk activity”, adding that “whenever one talks about Ayuso's boyfriend or Ayuso, things happen around them”. In a sarcastic tone, he even asked for a “danger bonus” to deal with the issue and concluded with “strange things happen, misfortunes happen”.
Beyond this reflection, the collaborator focused his analysis on the housing debate, criticizing the stance of parties like PP, Vox or Junts, whom he accused of prioritizing owners over tenants. The analyst focused his speech on the housing debate, where he argued that the stance of some parties responds to clear interests: “It's ideology, but it's also a business”. Along those lines, the program collected statements from Gabriel Rufián in the Congreso de los Diputados, in which he questioned possible economic interests linked to the vote on this matter and urged the press to investigate the patrimonial situation of some political leaders.
Back on set, Cintora placed the focus on another element of the current debate: the targeting of migrants in the housing crisis, mentioning speeches like those of Santiago Abascal. In this context, Losada underlined that this collective faces a triple discrimination, with greater difficulties in accessing public housing and high levels of rejection in the private market, where different studies indicate that a large majority claims to have suffered some type of discrimination.
