Apple TV announces its ambitious release schedule for 2026

The streaming platform reinforces its offering with new seasons, unreleased series, and cinematic titles with international stars throughout the year

Apple TV has unveiled its 2026 release schedule, setting up one of the most intense and varied years in its history for original content, with a balance between major returns, new drama series, comedies, and films that will be strategically distributed throughout the year. 

Weekly programming and featured series

Apple TV has presented its release schedule for 2026 at Press Day, confirming that a new title will be released each week, including expected returns of established series. Among them, the following stand out:

  • Shrinking (third season, already released) – starring Harrison Ford, Jessica Williams, Jeff Daniels, and Michael J. Fox; produced by Warner Bros. Television and Doozer Productions.
     
  • Monarch: Legacy of Monsters (second season, February 27) – with Kurt Russell and Wyatt Russell, production by Legendary Television in collaboration with Toho Co., Ltd.

  • The Last Thing He Told Me (second season, February 20) – with Jennifer Garner, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, and Angourie Rice; production by 20th Television and Hello Sunshine.

  • Confess, Fletch (second season, April 3) – led by Jon Hamm and with James Marsden.

  • Criminal Record (second season, April 22), starring Peter Capaldi and Cush Jumbo, produced by Tod Productions and STV Studios.
