The Atresplayer platform continues strengthening its fiction catalog and is already working on a new series based on the novel Mi querida Lucía, written by La Vecina Rubia. The work, published in 2024, will make the leap to the screen in the form of an original production of the platform.
The project is currently in script development phase and will have eight episodes. For the moment, neither the cast nor the start date of filming have been confirmed, although the adaptation is already underway as part of Atresmedia's strategy to continue betting on stories popular with the public.
The series will be produced by Atresmedia in collaboration with Good Mood, the production company founded by Daniel Écija, responsible for numerous television fictions in Spain.

My dear Lucía also entails a change of register for La Vecina Rubia, known for her successful trilogy Summer. On this occasion, the author delves into the psychological thriller with police overtones, centered on Lucía Romasanta, an astrologer and single mother whose life changes after receiving disturbing letters from an anonymous admirer who holds her responsible for a death.
With this new project, Atresplayer continues expanding its catalog of original fiction and reinforces its commitment to adaptations of highly successful novels, a strategy that in recent years has led to several outstanding productions within the platform.
