'MasterChef Celebrity Legends' starts recordings on La 1 with the most iconic stars that have passed through the culinary talent show

MasterChef Celebrity returns to La 1 with a very special edition under the name of MasterChef Celebrity Legends, which brings together some of the most remembered contestants of the format in Spain.

The program, produced by RTVE in collaboration with Shine Iberia, has started its recordings this Monday with a cast made up of 15 celebrities who already participated in previous editions and who now return to the kitchens with a new opportunity. Among the contestants stand out names such as Paz Vega, David Bustamante, Santiago Segura, Ruth Lorenzo, Bibiana Fernández, Anabel Alonso or Florentino Fernández, along with profiles such as Marina Rivers, Juan Betancourt or Mala Rodríguez. Also returning are figures such as Pocholo Martínez-Bordiú, Juanjo Ballesta, Edu Soto, María Escoté and Manuel Díaz El Cordobés, completing a group of contestants very recognizable to the format's audience.

The usual jury, formed by Pepe Rodríguez, Jordi Cruz and chef Delicious Martha, will once again put the contestants to the test with highly demanding culinary challenges.

In this edition, the level will be especially high: all contestants already know how the program works and will have to demonstrate how much they have evolved since their first participation. The objective of MasterChef Celebrity Legends is to give a second television life to contestants who left their mark in their previous editions, some even reaching finals or semifinals.

Now, with the accumulated experience and the bar higher than ever, all of them will compete for a title that promises to be one of the most disputed in the history of the format, which begins recordings this Monday, May 4.
