Núria Marín returns with a new television project: What happened, happened, an original program from RTVE Play that delves into the universe of gossip, pop culture and celebrity figures, combining entertainment and critical analysis.

The format, which will premiere this Sunday 24 at 8:00 PM on RTVE Play and later on La 2 after Zero Dramas, proposes a review of media phenomena with a lighthearted, but also reflective tone, addressing the fears, contradictions and “guilty pleasures” of current society.

Each episode will feature guests with diverse profiles and different generations, who will contribute their points of view to generate debates about fame, the media and the construction of popular culture. Among the participants are names such as Chelo García-Cortés, ‘Soy una pringada’, Boris Izaguirre, Samantha Hudson, Sílvia Abril, Valeria Vegas or Paloma Barrientos, among others.

The program, produced by RTVE together with Sidecar Media, not only focuses on the present, but also reviews the past to understand how current media stereotypes have been constructed, in a constant dialogue between eras. In its first installment, titled Beefs. From the Folklóricas to Andy y Lucas, the space analyzes the most notorious rivalries in popular culture, from historical confrontations on television to more recent conflicts on social networks, exploring why these clashes continue to generate so much interest.

With this new format, RTVE Play reinforces its commitment to content aimed at new audiences, combining entertainment, analysis and pop culture from a contemporary perspective.
