RTVE begins the filming of ‘Rojo sobre blanco’ its new police series with Hugo Silva and María Hervás

The public channel bets on the thriller with a production of eight episodes set in a criminal investigation environment

RTVE has begun in Madrid the filming of Rojo sobre blanco, its new police series produced by Good Mood (Mediawan), with Hugo Silva and María Hervás leading a large ensemble cast. The fiction is defined as a “luminous thriller” where comedy and intrigue intertwine in the daily life of a police station.

The cast is completed with names such as Irene Arcos, Pablo Derqui, Manu Baqueiro, Francis Lorenzo, Juanlu González, Belén Écija, Miryam Gallego and Ana Gracia, among other performers who will give life to the different police and personal profiles of the series.

The production will feature eight 70-minute episodes and has already begun filming, which will extend until June in locations in Madrid and Tenerife. The series is driven by Daniel Écija as executive producer, with direction by Jesús Rodrigo, María Pulido and David Molina Encinas, and a large team for script and technical direction.

The synopsis revolves around Daniela, a waitress with a talent for language played by María Hervás, and Mario, an inspector in personal crisis played by Hugo Silva, who will be forced to collaborate in the resolution of police cases while their personal lives become complicated and the attraction between them changes everything.
