The president of the Junta de Andalucía and candidate for re-election, Juanma Moreno, has made a call for the mobilization of the electorate ahead of the regional elections next May 17, underlining the importance of achieving a broad majority that guarantees institutional stability in the community. During his speech in Córdoba, he has insisted that the Popular Party represents, in his opinion, the only solid and viable project for the future of Andalucía.

Moreno has defended the need to obtain a “honor roll” at the polls, with the objective of revalidating a sufficient majority that allows governing without blockages. In this sense, he has warned about the risks of scenarios of political instability, alluding to situations like that experienced in Extremadura, where the lack of agreements delayed the formation of government for months.

The event has taken place within the framework of the Intermunicipal of the Andalusian PP, which has also featured the participation of the party's national leader, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, as well as prominent leaders such as Elías Bendodo or María José García-Pelayo. The event has served to showcase the party's territorial strength and its implementation in the municipal sphere.

During his speech, Moreno has asked for prudence and has warned that victory should not be taken for granted, despite the good results obtained in 2022, when the PP achieved a historic absolute majority with 58 seats. He has compared the electoral contest with a match that can be decided in the last moments, appealing to the involvement of voters.

The popular candidate has vindicated the so-called “Andalusian way”, a management model based, as he has explained, on moderation, stability and economic growth. In this regard, he has defended that his government has promoted policies oriented towards social welfare and development of the autonomous community.

Finally, Moreno has directed his message to a broad electorate, appealing to those who seek stability, dialogue, and future. He has presented the Partido Popular de Andalucía as an integrating and focused project, capable of responding to the needs of the citizenry and consolidating a period of progress in the community.
