The president of the Junta de Andalucía, Juanma Moreno, has highlighted that the impulse of the Andalusian Government to green hydrogen projects will allow mobilizing close to 6,000 million euros of investment and generating around 10,000 jobs in the community. Moreno made these statements during the inauguration in Seville of the European Green Hydrogen Congress, a meeting that brings together companies, experts, and institutions to analyze the development of this clean energy on the continent.
During his speech, Moreno stressed that Andalusia is positioning itself as one of the key territories in Europe for the development of clean energies, thanks to its potential in renewable resources and to the institutional drive to attract strategic projects.
In this context, the Andalusian president highlighted the development of initiatives linked to green hydrogen in industrial enclaves such as San Roque, in the Campo de Gibraltar, and Palos de la Frontera, in the province of Huelva.
As he explained, these projects strengthen the energy transformation of the community and consolidate Andalusia as a benchmark in the production and export of sustainable energies.
Moreno also highlighted that the Andalusian Government works to facilitate the arrival of investments and accelerate the implementation of new energy infrastructures linked to renewables.
The president of the Board noted that the development of green hydrogen not only represents an opportunity in energy terms, but also a boost for industrial growth and the creation of quality employment.
