On February 18, it will be one month since the worst railway accident in Spain's history, and Juanma Moreno's government wants to pay a tribute of solidarity to the victims and their families. The decision to move the meeting to this town has a strong symbolic component and institutional recognition. This is not the first time the regional Executive has held meetings outside its official headquarters, a practice sometimes used to highlight relevant situations or reinforce its institutional presence in the territory.
The ordinary meeting of the Governing Council outside its usual headquarters will take place in the Cordoban municipality of Adamuz, in the Municipal Shed, next to the Sierra Olive Center. The accident has shocked all of Spain. Leaving 46 victims and seven injured who remain hospitalized. The Andalusian president Juanma Moreno wanted to recall on the social network 'X' the intention to move the government council to the Cordoban town on February 18: "We do not forget the victims or their families. With all our affection, we will gather the Governing Council there in homage to the solidarity of the town's residents."
