Aragon decides this February 8 its political future in regional elections whose results will have a clear national projection. This has been stated by the President of the Government of Aragon and PP candidate to revalidate his position, Jorge Azcón, who has affirmed that the Popular Party "has had a good campaign" and has encouraged all citizens to go to the polls. In this regard, he has expressed his conviction that the result of the election day "will be heard throughout Spain".

"Today is the day to vote", Azcón has reiterated, underlining that it is the day on which the Aragonese can freely express their opinion. "I want to encourage them to do so. It is very important that we all have the opportunity to go to vote in these elections", he has insisted.

In the same vein, **the PSOE candidate for the Presidency of Aragon, Pilar Alegría,** has called on citizens to participate in this Sunday's elections, appealing to "mobilization and responsibility," since, as she has pointed out, "**today we decide the present and the future of our land**." Alegría made these statements upon her arrival at IES Goya in Zaragoza, where she exercised her right to vote shortly after 10:30 a.m. "**The day of the vote has finally arrived and my first message is for all Aragonese people, so that we have a good election day**," she stated

The socialist candidate has insisted on the importance of citizen participation and has encouraged voters not to stay home. “Let everyone go out to vote, because what we Aragonese decide today with our vote is the present and the future of our autonomous community, of our land,” she stated.Likewise, he has expressed confidence that the day will conclude with high participation, despite the fact that "it is the first time we have had regional elections that are not accompanied by municipal elections." Nevertheless, he has highlighted that the conditions are favorable and has expressed his desire for significant participation to be registered. Pilar Alegría has acknowledged that she faces the day without nerves, but "excited about the work we have been doing and the project we have defended." From now on, she added, "it is up to the Aragonese to vote and decide"The socialist candidate also recalled that it is the first time that regional elections are held solely in Aragon, which represents "the opportunity to talk only about Aragon," although she stressed that "surely we will be heard throughout Spain"For his part, Jorge Azcón has insisted on this idea after casting his vote, highlighting that "today are the only elections that are held in Spain", which will make the result of Aragon have "a national echo that otherwise would not have".
