The duty judge has decreed provisional detention without bail for Dino Marcello Miller, arrested this Friday in Lleida for an alleged crime of robbery with violence and intimidation with a dangerous instrument in the degree of attempt.
The arrest occurred after agents of the Mossos d'Esquadra arrested him as the alleged perpetrator of an attempted robbery of a supermarket located on Baró de Maials street, in the Pardinyes neighborhood. During the assault, the man would have used a pistol that was later found to be simulated.
Dino Marcello Miller had been released on April 16 from the Ponent Penitentiary Center. His release activated monitoring and control measures by the authorities, as he was cataloged as an inmate of high dangerousness and there was, according to reports, a “significant risk” of criminal recidivism.
The arrest occurred just one month after leaving prison and once again places the ex-convict in the police and judicial spotlight due to his extensive criminal record.
