The Minister of Territory of the Generalitat, Sílvia Paneque, has announced that the Rodalies service in Catalonia will continue to be suspended this Sunday and has defended as "correct" the decision to maintain the interruption until the safety of users can be guaranteed.

Paneque made these statements this Saturday to the media at the Department's headquarters, after presiding over a meeting with the Minister of the Presidency, Albert Dalmau, and the Secretary of State for Transport, José Antonio Santano, among other officials. **The minister thanked the civility shown by the citizens and highlighted the attitude of the parliamentary groups, whom she recognized for their "serious and rigorous" behavior and for not having politically exploited the situation.**
The Generalitat government has stressed that its top priority is to guarantee the full safety of users and workers, as well as to ensure the right to mobility and to demand that Adif and Renfe fulfill their obligation to continue working to find solutions. In this context, the Catalan Executive has reported that throughout the day, exhaustive reviews of the Rodalies network infrastructure are being carried out with the aim of restoring service as soon as possible. Likewise, the Government has indicated that the order to suspend service has been given due to a lack of guarantees in the operability of the Rodalies network
