Pedro Sánchez and Yolanda Díaz calm the biggest government crisis: they reach an agreement with measures to alleviate the effects of the war in Iran
Pedro Sánchez and Yolanda Díaz have reached an agreement to push forward a new social shield after hours of tension in the Executive.
The pact materializes in two decrees that will be sent to the Congress of Deputies: one promoted by the PSOE with tax cuts and another promoted by Sumar with measures on housing. The agreement puts an end to the internal clash that had caused the delay of the Council of Ministers.

Tension in the Government: Sumar's ministers delay the Council of Ministers by more than two hours
The meeting of the Council of Ministers of Spain has started this Friday with more than two hours of delay after the ministers of Sumar initially refused to enter as a gesture of protest.
The reason for the clash with the socialist wing of the Executive was the refusal to include protection measures for tenants within the decree-law prepared to face the economic consequences of the war in Iran. The disagreement provoked a struggle within the Government that ended up delaying the start of the meeting.
