The self-proclaimed journalist and ultra agitator Vito Quiles has tried to make Podemos's secretary general, Ione Belarra, uncomfortable during the press conference in the Congress of Deputies this Tuesday.

Quiles took the floor without being granted a turn to ask him "spokesperson, what do you think that after defending the great replacement theory, they have ended up replacing you in Aragon? What do you think about having more panelists than voters?".After these words, the spokeswoman responded ironically: "I believe that we have answered these questions many times. What you have not answered is the most important question, which is if have they already given you the Popular Party membership card?"Furthermore, Belarra took advantage of the speech to reproach Quiles for his participation and performance in different political parties: "People have the right to know how much you earn and for whom you work." How much have they paid you to participate in the PP's campaign closing... Which must be a fortune."

Quiles's intervention caused Belarra's entire press team to ask to end the media attention early, as several journalists who were present at the press conference reproached the activist for interrupting the press conference and wasting time with questions that stray from the journalistic field.

On January 14, the Advisory Council of Parliamentary Communication concluded in several reports that the infractions attributed to Vito Quiles and Bertrand Ndongo are "serious" and should be sanctioned with the temporary suspension of their accreditation in Congress. It should be remembered that this action hinders the normal performance of the work of accredited journalists, by altering the usual development of press conferences and limiting the right of other professionals to ask their questions to political representatives.
