Traveling during Holy Week will be more affordable for those who manage to get hold of the new tickets that Renfe has put on sale. The company has launched a campaign with reduced prices on both Avlo and AVE, with fares starting from 19 euros.
This is a specific promotion that coincides with one of the periods of highest demand of the year, and that will be available for a limited time.
When can the tickets be bought
The promotional tickets are already available and can be purchased until April 5, as long as there are seats left on the trains included in the offer.
As happens in this type of campaign, the number of seats is limited, so the lowest prices usually sell out quickly.
The promotion is designed for Easter Week trips and covers a wide range of dates.
Specifically, the trips can be made between March 27 and April 6, which allows to include both multi-day getaways as well as shorter journeys.
Prices from 19 and 33 euros
The most economical fares start from:
- 19 euros on Avlo
- 33 euros on AVE
These prices correspond to the cheapest seats available within the campaign and may vary depending on demand, the route, or the chosen schedule.
The travelers who are part of the Más Renfe loyalty program will also be able to benefit from the points system, accumulating balance for future trips.
This advantage is added to the direct saving of the ticket, which can be especially interesting for those who travel frequently.
The campaign comes at a time when the train continues to gain weight in long-distance travel.
Renfe closed 2025 with more than 37 million journeys in High-Speed and Long-Distance services, which represents a growth of 6% compared to the previous year.
In addition to the promotion, the company has incorporated a new functionality for travelers.
It is a website that allows checking in real time the location of high-speed, long and medium-distance trains. Through this system, users can see the route of their train or check the status of a specific station.
The tool will also be progressively available for the Cercanías and Rodalies network.
