The channel of journalist Jesús Cintora has hosted a new debate focused on political and economic power and the justice of the current system, with the participation of philosopher, historian, and journalist José Miguel Villarroya and the director of ElConstitucional.es, Hugo Pereira.
During the exchange, both regular analysts on 'Malas Lenguas', the program hosted and directed by Jesús Cintora on TVE, confronted their views on the functioning of the capitalist system and the real distribution of power in Spain and internationally. The debate addressed key issues such as the role of public services, the advisability or not of public-private collaboration, and the limits of this model in strategic sectors.
Villarroya defended a critical view of capitalism and its social effects, raising the need to carry out a "revolution" and establish a "communist system." For his part, Pereira advocated for the current system's validity, emphasizing the importance of institutions, private initiative, and economic stability. The dialogue also extended to institutional issues such as the model of the State, with opposing positions on monarchy and republic, as well as on the role of political and economic elites in decision-making.
