This Sunday Spain has made history again by being crowned World Cup winner for the second time. The match was attended by the President of the United States, Donald Trump, the President of the Government of Spain, Pedro Sánchez, accompanied by several ministers of the Executive, and the Kings of Spain. However, the President of Argentina, Javier Milei, did not wish to attend the competition.

After the Spanish victory, many political figures from around the world have come out to congratulate the Spanish team. However, Milei has not done so. Through his social media, he wrote: "Thank you very much Players...!!! Until the end with boots on. Argentina always on top."

Trump congratulates Spain

On the other hand, the President of the United States, Donald Trump, who was one of those in charge of distributing medals to the Spanish players, stated that he spoke "with Spain and congratulated them for having a great team" and then affirmed: "No, I have no tensions. I have no tensions with anyone."

The Kings and the Government celebrate the victory

The Kings, who followed the match from the authorities' box at the New York stadium along with Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofía, reacted to the victory with a congratulatory message published on the Casa Real's "X" account.

"You are world champions!" begins the message disseminated by Felipe VI and Queen Letizia, who celebrated the conquest of the championship, highlighting that the new star "is the reward for a path as long as it is demanding," built on "effort, sacrifice, perseverance, and exemplary dedication in every match."

The conquest of the World Cup was also celebrated by the Government. The president, Pedro Sánchez, shared a message on the social network X in which he congratulated the national team for the world title and thanked them for the work done during the tournament: "WE ARE WORLD CHAMPIONS! Our National Team is enormous! Thank you, team."

To the congratulations was added the vice president Carlos Cuerpo who highlighted the role of the national team and assured that the team "has made us vibrate and enjoy." For his part, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, José Manuel Albares, described the triumph as a reason for "pride" for Spain and celebrated the achievement of the second star.

Also reacted the Minister of Sports, Milagros Tolón, who recalled the confidence she had placed in the national team before the final, as well as the ministers Óscar López and Óscar Puente, who praised the level shown by Spain throughout the championship and agreed to highlight the team's dominance throughout the tournament.
