The Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, has stated in a televised declaration that there are “growing signs” that the supreme leader of Iran, the Ayatollah Alí Jamenei, would have died in one of the recent attacks.
“For 47 years, the regime of the ayatollahs has called for the death of Israel and the Americans”, Netanyahu stated, who also thanked the support of the United States in the offensive. The leader argued that a “murderous regime” cannot possess nuclear weapons with the capacity to threaten the international community.
In his address, he accused Jamenei of having “terrorized” the Iranian population for decades and of planning the destruction of the State of Israel. “This plan no longer exists. This tyrant no longer exists,” he concluded.
At the moment, the authorities of Tehran have not officially confirmed the alleged death of the Iranian supreme leader.
