The President of the United States, Donald Trump, has launched this Sunday his toughest warning to date against the Iranian authorities, in a message full of disqualifications, after the blocking of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz. The president has issued a clear ultimatum: if maritime transit is not reestablished before next Tuesday, he will order a large-scale attack against the country's infrastructure.

"Next Tuesday will be Energy Plants Day and Bridges Day, all in one," Trump has declared, also insisting that there will be "nothing that resembles" the offensive that, he warns, he is willing to launch if Tehran does not yield.

The president has reiterated his threat in especially harsh terms: "Open the fucking strait, crazy bastards, or you are going to live in hell. Wait and see. Praise be to Allah", he concluded.
