Ring wants to become an even more complete ally for home security. The company, owned by Amazon, has presented a new generation of surveillance cameras with five models designed to control both the interior and exterior of the home. Among its main novelties are 4K resolution, WiFi 6 connectivity, new lighting systems, and different mechanisms aimed at reinforcing the privacy of recordings.
The new family consists of three outdoor cameras and two indoor cameras, with prices starting from 69.99 euros. Ring thus opts to offer different alternatives depending on the space to be monitored, from a room in the house to a garden, an access, or a parking area.
Ring brings its new 4K cameras to the outside of the home
To monitor gardens, facades, accesses, or any other outdoor space, Ring has presented three models. The Ring Outdoor Cam 4K Plus, priced at 149.99 euros, is the most versatile proposal in the new range. It features a wide-angle lens capable of capturing color images even in low light and allows up to five power options: rechargeable battery, solar panel, electrical current, direct wiring, or Power over Ethernet (PoE+).
The Ring Spotlight Cam 4K Plus, which costs 199.99 euros, adds an element specially designed for night surveillance. It integrates a 550-lumen LED spotlight that activates when it detects presence, so it can directly illuminate the area while recording what is happening.
For its part, the Ring Floodlight Cam 4K Plus becomes the most advanced model in this new outdoor range. Its price is 219.99 euros and it is designed to cover larger spaces, such as patios, gardens, or parking lots. For this, it incorporates two projectors capable of reaching 2,000 lumens, in addition to 24-hour continuous recording and intelligent detection functions.

Two cameras to monitor the interior of the home
Ring has also renewed its indoor solutions with two devices with very different characteristics. The Ring Indoor Cam 4K, for 99.99 euros, offers a 115-degree field of view, dual-band WiFi 6, and color capture in low-light conditions.
But one of its most striking elements is related to privacy. The camera incorporates a physical shutter that covers the lens, allowing the image to be mechanically blocked when the device is not wanted to be used.
The more economical alternative is the Ring Pan-Tilt Indoor Cam 2K, available for 69.99 euros. Its motorized system allows the camera to rotate and tilt to intelligently track people or pets within a room using computer vision.
In addition, the privacy cover has an additional function: when closed, it deactivates both the camera and the microphones, preventing the device from continuing to capture image or sound.
A new encryption system to protect recordings
Security is not limited to hardware. Ring has also introduced an important privacy novelty with TAKE (Transparent Access with Key Expiry), which becomes the default encryption system for Ring users globally.
The technology allows the Ring cloud to process functions such as smart alerts and real-time video analysis. Once that processing is finished, the system revokes the platform's access to the encryption keys, leaving control of the recordings in the hands of the devices authorized by the owner.
With this new generation, Ring thus reinforces its commitment to connected home security, combining higher resolution cameras, more advanced connectivity, outdoor lighting, and mechanisms designed to offer greater control over privacy.
