The National Police has arrested in Porto Cristo a man accused of sexually assaulting a woman with a disability, to whom he allegedly supplied drugs and alcohol, in addition to trying to tie her with ropes.
According to the information advanced by Última Hora, the events took place last Tuesday in this town of the municipality of Manacor. The victim would have gone to the suspect's home, whom he knew for running a bar in the area.
Once in the dwelling, the man would have administered narcotic substances that caused her indisposition. Upon regaining consciousness, the woman realized that she had a rope tied around her neck.
After a struggle, she managed to hit the alleged aggressor and escape the property to ask for help. Subsequently, she was transferred to Manacor Hospital, where she was attended accompanied by her mother, and later filed a complaint for sexual assault.
The detainee was brought before the court and, finally, was released with charges for the alleged crimes of sexual assault and injuries.
