The investigation into the death of Isak Andic continues to advance. The head of Investigating Court number 5 of Martorell has agreed to summon as witnesses the family therapist, the businessman's two daughters, his partner, and several people from his closest circle. In addition, she has ordered a reconstruction of the fatal fall on Montserrat mountain and has requested that the complete medical history of the founder of Mango be incorporated into the case.

The new proceedings respond, in large part, to the requests made by the Public Prosecutor's Office within the case in which Jonathan Andic, the businessman's eldest son, is being investigated for an alleged homicide. However, the judge has for the moment rejected some of the measures requested by the Public Prosecutor's Office, including the seizure of Jonathan Andic's electronic devices, considering that they are not sufficiently justified.

The role of the therapist and the exchanged messages

The magistrate has agreed to the testimony of the family therapist, with whom both Isak Andic and his son had conversations that are part of the police reports incorporated into the investigation.

Among the analyzed messages appears one sent by Jonathan Andic in July 2025 in which, recalling discussions with his father, he stated: "It's no wonder you thought I was capable of even killing you." The defense argues that this is a metaphorical expression common in the context of psychoanalytic therapies and rejects that it can be interpreted as an incriminating clue.

Another message incorporated into the summary corresponds to May 2024 and records a conversation in which the therapist reminded Isak Andic that, during a session, he had raised the possibility of disinheriting his firstborn. The judge considers that this point could be relevant to the investigation, since in previous resolutions she pointed to an alleged obsession of Jonathan Andic with money.

Precisely, the magistrate also asked the Mossos d'Esquadra to analyze whether third parties could have intervened in the events and to investigate the possible influence that the therapist could have had on the family environment.

Isak Andic's daughters defend the relationship between father and son

The judicial resolution also summons the two daughters of Mango's founder, Sarah and Judith Andic, as well as the company's CEO, Toni Ruiz, the family secretary, and the businessman's romantic partner at the time of his death, to testify.

During the proceedings carried out so far, Sarah Andic assured investigators that the relationship between her father and her brother was good and that she never witnessed serious arguments between them. Furthermore, she denied that Jonathan had a special obsession with economic matters.

Judith Andic expressed herself along the same lines, acknowledging the existence of minor occasional disagreements, although she described them as unimportant "squabbles." She also explained that her father had begun working on the creation of a family foundation and that, for this purpose, he gathered his three children. According to her statement, Isak Andic never expressed his intention to disinherit Jonathan nor did he convey any plan in that regard to the family.

The reconstruction of the fall and the analysis of the businessman's health status are now emerging as two of the key investigations to try to clarify the circumstances of the death of Mango's founder in Montserrat.
