The Ibex 35 remains in positive territory with a 0.28% rise on a day marked by tensions in the Middle East

The Spanish stock market maintains its positive trend despite the international scenario, with oil moderating the sharp rises recorded at the opening

The Ibex 35 has continued this Monday in positive territory during mid-session and has advanced 0.28%, to stand at 19,271.60 points, in a session in which markets have remained very attentive to the evolution of the conflict in the Middle East and its possible effects on the international economy.

After the strong rises registered early in the day, the price of oil has reduced some of the initial pressure. The Brent barrel, a reference in Europe, has fallen to below 88 dollars, while West Texas Intermediate (WTI) has traded around 82 dollars, a behavior that has favored the evolution of European stock markets.

Investors also keep their eyes on the next economic references of the week, with the European Central Bank meeting scheduled for this Thursday and the presentation of new business results by Spanish and international companies.

In the business sphere, Cirsa has announced the acquisition of a majority stake in the company that owns Casino Figueira, in Portugal. In addition, TSK has reported the collection of 82 million dollars for the financing of a 150-megawatt solar plant in Panama.

Among the best-performing values of the selective, ArcelorMittal, Acciona, Solaria, Indra, and Grifols have stood out, while IAG, Telefónica, Aena, Colonial, and Redeia have led the falls during mid-session.
