The president of Vox, Santiago Abascal, has taken advantage this Thursday of the latest judicial developments related to the Government's circle to harden his speech against Pedro Sánchez. Through a message published on the social network 'X', the leader has linked the prosecution of Begoña Gómez, the information about the Guardia Civil and the endorsement of the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) of the amnesty law to denounce what he considers a strategy of protection for the Executive.

"The wife of P.S. on trial. Marlaska from his sewer putting the honor of the Guardia Civil in an unprecedented situation," wrote Abascal, alluding to the judicial decision that will bring the wife of the president of the Government to trial for alleged crimes of influence peddling and embezzlement, as well as to the information published about a supposed instruction for commanders of the Guardia Civil not to attend the institutional act of the Day of the Community of Madrid in 2025.

The leader of Vox has also directed his criticism towards the European institutions after the CJEU's ruling on the amnesty law. In his opinion, Brussels has thrown "a lifeline" to the "mafia boss", referring to Pedro Sánchez, by supporting that the regulation does not violate European Union law.

Abascal has ended his message with a warning tone directed both at the Government and the rest of the political spectrum."Spain does not deserve this," he wrote, before adding that "whoever does not add up to defeat the mafia, subtracts."
