The leader of Vox, Santiago Abascal, stated this Saturday at an event held in Cuarte de Huerva (Zaragoza) that “ETA put Pedro Sánchez in the Moncloa Palace”. The leader made these statements after alleged reports emerged pointing to a supposed agreement between EH Bildu and the President of the Government to request the removal of the terrorist group from the European Union's list of terrorist organizations.

During his speech, Abascal maintained that "ETA no longer kills because it doesn't need to," after decades of violence, and assured that Vox will not "forget nor forgive." In this regard, he denounced what he considers an attempt to "erase the history" of Spain.

The Vox leader also stated that Aragonese people and all Spaniards are being presented with "a devilish choice: either the mafia or the scam".Abascal also lashes out at the PP

Abascal described Pedro Sánchez's Executive as "a corrupt, lying, and traitorous mafia," which he accused of having come to power by "scamming Spaniards." He also criticized the government's initiative to regularize nearly half a million people who, he claimed, have entered Spain illegally, warning of possible consequences regarding security, public services, and access to housing.

Likewise, he lashed out at the Popular Party, accusing them of orchestrating "the PP's scam" and of making deals with the PSOE "at the drop of a hat." In this context, he recalled that the Popular Party voted in favor of initiating parliamentary proceedings for the regularization of immigrants and subsequently broke off regional governments with Vox, after—he said—having lied until the last moment about the distribution of immigrants.
