Adif, the railway infrastructure manager, has lifted the temporary speed limit of 160 km/h that it had imposed the previous day after inspecting the section between Madrid and Calatayud on the Madrid-Barcelona high-speed line.

Currently, only **four points remain restricted**, with a speed limit of 230 km/h. These sections will be re-evaluated in the next maintenance review, scheduled for tonight, with the possibility of also removing these restrictions, as **Adif** itself has informed the media.

The current restrictions affect track 1 at kilometers 27.160 and 138.60, and track 2 at kilometers 50.840 and 143.760. Outside these sections, the maximum speed returns to 300 km/h, thus recovering the usual travel times between Madrid and Calatayud

Adif has recalled that these temporary limitations are **usual preventive measures** when irregularities are detected on the track and that their main objective is to guarantee the **safety of trains, passengers, and workers**.
