Pope Leo XIV is in Barcelona and this Wednesday he will go to Brians Prison, Montserrat Abbey, the Jesus Tower of the Sagrada Familia and a church in the Raval neighborhood.
It is the first time that a pontiff visits a prison and 80 inmates will receive him, to later move to the sacred Catalan mountain where he will preside over the prayer of the Holy Rosary with the singing of the Salve and the Virolai performed by the Escolanía.
In the afternoon, he will visit the Church of San Agustín, in the Raval neighborhood, with social assistance entities and vulnerable people.
On Tuesday he carried out his farewell in Madrid at IFEMA at 10:20 a.m., which was attended by the volunteers of his visit and where he delivered a speech of thanks. Subsequently, he went to Barajas Airport to arrive at 1:00 p.m. at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross and Saint Eulalia.
Finally, at 8:00 p.m. he went to the 'Lluís Companys' Olympic Stadium for a prayer vigil, which was later accompanied by the music of Álvaro Soler, Beret, Siloé, Conchita, Alfred García, Sergio Dalma or Sabor de Gràcia.
