Begoña Gómez has requested the Provincial Court of Madrid to again schedule the deliberation of her appeal against the dismissal of the complaint filed for alleged harassment against the ultra agitator Vito Quiles. In a letter addressed to Section Four, the wife of the Prime Minister expresses her "bewilderment" at the suspension agreed this month and demands that a new date be set to resolve the procedure.

In the document, the defense specifies that the request is made "scrupulously respecting the labor rights of the magistrates," after the deliberation scheduled for July 6 was postponed as it coincided with the start of the vacation period for the members of the court. The resolution of the appeal was then pending a new scheduling, which has not yet been set.

The appeal filed by Gómez questions the decision of the Majadahonda Investigating Court, which agreed to dismiss the complaint without carrying out proceedings such as the statement of the complainant, the defendant, or the witnesses present during the events, according to her legal representation.

The complaint refers to an episode that occurred in an establishment in the northwest area of Madrid, where, according to Gómez's account, Vito Quiles allegedly approached her and prevented her from leaving the place while she was with several friends. The defense believes that these events should have been investigated before agreeing to dismiss the case.
