The demonstration held this Saturday in Madrid to demand Pedro Sánchez's resignation left moments of tension with the press. In one of the most commented videos of the day on the social network X, Daniel Esteve, leader of Desokupa, starred in an altercation with a La Sexta reporter when he tried to ask a question to Víctor de Aldama, investigated in several judicial cases and present at the protest, who was behind the ultra leader of Desokupa.

In the images, it is observed how the journalist approaches to ask Aldama while several people try to block his way. At that moment, Esteve confronts the reporter, pushes him aside with an elbow and ends up throwing La Sexta's microphone to the ground while demanding that he move away from the area. “What is the security perimeter?”, the journalist manages to ask during the tense exchange.

Throughout the protest, insults, boycott attempts, and moments of tension were recorded against journalists covering the march called by conservative associations and supported by Vox and leaders of the Popular Party. The presence of figures such as Alvise Pérez or Víctor de Aldama also turned the demonstration into a particularly controversial scenario, marked by political polarization and verbal confrontations with the press during a good part of the day.
