The former Vox spokesperson in Congress, Iván Espinosa de los Monteros, has assured that the party has opened a file against him with the aim of expelling him from the formation. According to what he declared, the procedure began last Monday, due to the growing frictions between former leaders and the current leadership of the party.
Espinosa de los Monteros has indicated that this decision responds to internal discrepancies and his critical stance on some dynamics within Vox. Although he has not detailed all the reasons for the file, he has hinted that there is a lack of tolerance towards dissenting voices within the party.
The former leader has also defended his trajectory and his commitment to the political project, stressing that his intention has always been to contribute to the strengthening of the formation. In this regard, he considers that the opening of the file represents one more step in the distancing between him and the current leadership.
Furthermore, he/she has insisted that his/her action has been guided by loyalty to the political project, defending his/her trajectory within Vox and showing his/her disagreement with the opening of the file against him/her.
