The PP will take a step forward in the courts to clarify the management of the migratory crisis in Ceuta. Its president, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, announced this Saturday that his party will appear in the investigation being processed by the National Court regarding the events recorded in the autonomous city. He also confirmed that he will be in Ceuta on September 2 to participate in the celebration of Ceuta Day, a date he has claimed as "the Day of all Spain".
The announcement was made during Feijóo's speech at the opening of the PP's political course in Cerdedo-Cotobade (Pontevedra). From there, the leader of the opposition has again demanded explanations from the Government and has defended that citizens have "the right to know the whole truth" about the massive entry of immigrants recorded on July 30 and 31.
Feijóo particularly criticized the explanations offered by different members of the Executive during recent appearances, which he described as "pathetic." In his opinion, the testimonies provided to the institutions have shown discrepancies about the level of information the Government had before the massive arrival occurred.
