The Minister of Finance, María Jesús Montero, has assured on RTVE's breakfasts that the Government plans to approve new General State Budgets before 2027 and has defended that there is sufficient margin to push them through.
“We have time to be able to do it,” Montero has affirmed, who has insisted that the Executive does not contemplate a scenario in which Spain reaches that year without new public accounts. “I do not contemplate that we can be in year 27 without budgets”, she has stressed.
The minister has thus conveyed a message of confidence in the Government's capacity to negotiate and approve the Budgets in the coming years, in a context marked by the need for parliamentary agreements to move forward the accounts.
