The Minister of Transport, Óscar Puente, has harshly attacked the ultra agitator Vito Quiles on the social network X after the controversy over the dissemination of the license plate of a vehicle linked to his security team, assuring that “everything has been allowed to him” and that he is now “absolutely out of control.”
In a tweet, Puente clarified that the car in question “was that of my escorts” and that, after its license plate was made public, “they had to change it”, highlighting the direct impact of this type of publication on security.
That car was my bodyguards'. They had to change it. Everything has been allowed to him. Now he is absolutely out of control. And he is even offered cameos in movies. It's the same case as Alvise, Negre and Ndongo. The same way of proceeding. Sheltered and sponsored by the PP. https://t.co/AzMIb6mNT2

The minister went further and framed the case within a broader dynamic, stating that it is the “same way of proceeding” as other agitators like Alvise Pérez, Javier Negre or Bertrand Ndongo, and pointing directly to the Popular Party by assuring that this type of behavior would be “protected and sponsored by the PP”.
The controversy occurs in parallel to another debate on social media about the exposure of personal data. The analyst Julián Macías questioned Quiles' announcement to take legal action against Sara Santaolalla for revealing his car license plate. Macías recalled that Quiles himself “has been showing license plates, addresses, images of minors for years, citing the case of the minister's bodyguards as an example.”
Vito Quiles says he is going to take legal action against Javier Ruiz and Sara Santaolalla for showing the license plate of the rental car with which they are being harassed.
