The spokesperson for ERC in Congress, Gabriel Rufián, has publicly highlighted the political profile of Pablo Bustinduy, whom he considers one of the most solid minds of the current progressive space.
During his statements, Rufián affirmed that he would look favorably upon the minister assuming a leading role in an eventual unitary candidacy of the left, highlighting his leadership capacity and his political projection.
However, he also clarified that any decision must respect the times and internal processes of the different formations, in a context marked by negotiations and the reconfiguration of the progressive space.
