From Sumar they have affirmed that the political space has “many people” capable of assuming the electoral leadership in the future, beyond the current role of Yolanda Díaz. The formation wants to convey the idea that there is succession and sufficient team to face upcoming electoral cycles.

In this way, the name of Pablo Bustinduy, Minister of Social Rights, Consumer Affairs and Agenda 2030, has been pointed out as one of the profiles with projection, although the organization avoids talking about closed decisions. They insist that the debate on candidacies is not formally open and that the priority remains the political and government agenda.

Sumar emphasizes that its project is collective and that leadership does not depend exclusively on a specific figure. The coalition emphasizes the construction of a broad team and the consolidation of its space within the Executive and in Parliament.
