The Government has culminated the declassification process of the documents linked to the attempted coup d'état of February 23, 1981, allowing from now on their public access. The decision represents a new step in the historical review of one of the most transcendental episodes of Spanish democracy.

From the Palacio de la Moncloa it has been reported that the documentation is already available through the official portals of the Executive and in the state archives enabled for its consultation. Being able to access this link

With this measure, the Executive reinforces its commitment to transparency and democratic memory, facilitating that researchers, journalists, and citizens can directly approach historical sources and deepen their knowledge of that key moment.
