The political tension in the Congress of Deputies has taken a new leap after an exchange of insults on social media between deputies from Vox and Sumar, triggered by the expulsion of parliamentarian José María Sánchez after his expulsion in the plenary session. The Vox deputy Carlos Flores called Nahuel González, from Sumar, “idiot” and “Nazi” on the social network X.
What you are is an asshole, an ignorant, a murderer and -as a bonus- a Nazi.

Flores justified his words assuring that he was reproducing the insults that, according to his version, his colleague José María Sánchez García had previously received before being expelled from the chamber. “They are the same four things that your colleague has hurled at my colleague”, he wrote, adding also other epithets such as “ignorant” and “murderer”.
The origin of the conflict lies in the expulsion of Sánchez García during a plenary session, after protagonizing a confrontation with a lawyer and with the presidency of the Chamber. From Sumar, Nahuel González described what happened as a “violent” behavior and assured not to remember precedents of a deputy invading the area of the Presidency of the Congress.
In his response, Flores defended both his colleague's actions and his own reaction, criticizing what he considers a double standard in the Chamber. “Standing up and asking to speak is for fascists, and requesting protection is for violent people,” he ironized, in a message that reflects the climate of growing political tension within Parliament.
