The deputy Gabriel Rufián, spokesperson for Esquerra Republicana de Catalunya (ERC), starred this Thursday in another of his classic controversial speeches that have already gone viral on social media in the Congress of Deputies, in which he harshly attacked the President of the United States Donald Trump and the Spanish political parties Partido Popular (PP) and Vox.
During his speech, Rufián described Trump with very harsh terms, calling him a "fraudster, pedophile, and rapist" and describing him as a "bully" – a person who intimidates and dominates with tyranny – who walks around the world winning elections without accountability after the polls.Rufián extended his criticism to the Spanish right, accusing the PP and Vox of supporting that type of leadership, stating that they act as "ass-lickers who clap like seals" and contribute to normalizing such political and diplomatic behaviorsRufián also took advantage of his speech to reproach the Government for what he considers **an insufficient response to international events**, citing the arrest of Nicolás Maduro, which he described as a "kidnapping," and pointed out that it had not been more clearly condemned from Madrid.
