España está preparada para ayudar. Hoy mismo parte un avión con dos…
The Government will send an airplane this Thursday with two urban search and rescue teams from the Military Emergency Unit (UME) and the Emergency and Immediate Response Team of the Community of Madrid (ERICAM). Personnel from the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID) will also travel to assess humanitarian needs on the ground.
The call comes as Foreign Affairs works to locate the 68 Spaniards who are still unaccounted for after the earthquakes. The Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, José Manuel Albares, has asked Spaniards in Venezuela to contact the embassy or consulate, which remain operational despite the damage suffered at the consular headquarters.
